Opportunity Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations of a $100MM ISO 9001:2015 Certified International Manufacturing company, the Operations Manager will be responsible Manufacturing Operations, Quality Control and Customer Service for a low volume, high mix Manufacturing facility that has been realizing 10-15% year-over-year growth for the last several years. For nearly 90 years the company mission has been to provide the right products for the right applications utilizing their highly customizable Manufacturing processes.The company culture is known for promoting high ethical standards, work-family balance, and sustainability where ecology and economy are in harmony.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage, develop and refine product manufacturing procedures, and use manufacturing data to improve processes.
  • Maintain a constant focus on new manufacturing processes and equipment to improve operations efficiency & capacity as well as product quality.
  • Manage production scheduling to ensure on time delivery of high quality products.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for service repair orders, and work with Service Department to minimize field service issues.
  • Create and maintain Manufacturing training materials and provide technical leadership to ensure the delivery of high quality products and on time delivery.
  • Promote company values of high integrity and foster a culture of trust, teamwork and a safe and positive work environment. 
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Engineering or other Manufacturing oriented discipline.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing of mechanical products involving assembly, painting, product testing, and quality improvement and control.
  • Experience managing people in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Computer proficiency (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with low volume, high mix Manufacturing is desired.
